The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero, has lost his Lagos home to a mysterious fire outbreak.
The fire, which reportedly started from the roof, completely destroyed the building, as nothing was salvaged.

It was allegedly preceded by some strange noise, which was mistaken for foraging domestic animals before the entire building was engulfed in flames, forcing family members to scamper to safety with what they had on their backs.
The prompt response of members of the community and fire brigade could not save the situation.
Meanwhile, Ajaero who was away in Geneva during the incident, on his return thanked God that no life was lost.
