Fiery Islamic cleric, Sheikh Abubakar Ahmad Gumi, has told Islamic f7undamentaliksts that they would not make Aljana (heaven) should they kill in the name of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
Sheik Gumi’s comment came on the heels of the assassination of a 200-level student at Sokoto State’s Shehu Shagari College of Education, Ms Deborah Samuel, last week.
Sheik Gumi revealed this while teaching a religious session at his Kaduna Juma’at mosque.
The Islamic cleric mentioned that non-Muslims attacked the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) multiple times during his lifetime when speaking at a religious education session in his Kaduna Juma’at mosque.

Prophet Mohammed, according to Sheiik Gumi, declined to confront or even murder those who assassinated his characters.
Sheikh Gumi, who called on Islamic clerics to teach sound religious tenets to their followers instead of inciting them to commit ‘reprehensible’ acts, said the best way for Muslims to show their love for Prophet Mohammed (SAW) was to follow his religious teachings and obey him completely, rather than killing people over minor issues.
According to report, the priest stated that because Nigerian Muslims and Christians have decided to coexist peacefully, no religion legislation is enforced in the country, which is a secular state.
“Hence, anyone who kills a non-Muslim who they have agreed to live peacefully with, will not smell the fragrance of Paradise for 40 years.
“If we think by killing Deborah, people who are not of the same faith with us will stop insulting our prophet, then we are in delusion,” Sheik Gumi said.
