Sex scam lands corps member in jail for 2 years 

A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Oyeyemi Caleb, is to spend the next two years in jail because of his conviction of a sex scam.
An Ilorin, Kwara State High Court slammed the judgment on Oyeyemi, who is serving in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

According to the charges brought against him Officials by the zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Ilorin, the convict allegedly posed as a female white online sex worker and defrauded one Wilson (a white man) of $100 in order to offer him sex.

Consequently, 21-year-old Oyeyemi was arrested and arraigned before  Justice Adenike Akinpelu. He pleaded guilty when the counts were read to him.

Ruling on the matter, Justice Akinpelu convicted and sentenced the corps member to one-year imprisonment with an option of fine of N200,000 on each of the two counts brought against him.
