Several people comprising members of the Independent Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, and security operatives were feared killed on Sunday in a bloody clash in Enugu State.
Some policemen had reportedly raided a meeting of the IPOB members inside a secondary school at Emene and attempted to as disperse the group as well as well arrest them.
It was gathered, however, that the IPOB members overpowered the security agents and went on to sack Emene police station.
Consequently, a reinforcement of well-armed security operatives, including policemen, soldiers and DSS personnel arrived in about a dozen patrol vans to tackle the pro-Biafra group.
It was during the ensuing confrontation that many IPOB members and some security agents were reportedly killed.
