Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Mr. Hyacinth Dajoh, has lamented the absence of relief materials in the stores of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
The Speaker was, on Friday, taken round the facility by the Acting Executive Secretary of the agency, Mr. James Iorpuu.
He was shocked that a government agency, charged with the responsibility of meeting the emergency needs of the state was empty, wondering how, under the circumstance, the welfare needs of the IDPs in various camps would be met.

Hyacinth Alia, to immediately provide enough food for the agency so that it could respond to the deplorable humanitarian condition of the needy IDPs, while also appealing for the help of good spirited Nigerians and donor agencies.
