Residents loot truck conveying food items in Ondo
Some residents of Akure, the Ondo state capital, have looted a truck conveying food items amid the current economic hardship in the country.
This is coming few days after a similar incident occured in Kebbi state.
According to TheCable, the truck developed a mechanical fault at the popular cultural centre junction, along Ondo-Akure expressway, on Monday.
The mechanical fault enabled the residents to overpower the driver and loot the truck.
It was observed that the food bags in the truck were branded in the name of President Bola Tinubu.
Those who looted the truck were petty traders, artisans, drivers and commercial motorcyclists.
