Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann has pleaded with fans of the club to forgive him and his team mates after a string of poor run that has seen the club remain without a win in their last four La Liga outings.
Just like Griezmann, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has also admitted that he has failed to live up to expectation, especially in the 0-1 loss to Arsenal last weekend.
Speaking after last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Alaves, Griezmann said Barca fans shouldn’t lose hope assuring that things would get better for the Catalan giants.
“We are missing a lot of chances, me more than anyone, but it’s still early in the season and I know we’re going to get better,” Griezmann said.
He was also quick to add…”We are very angry because we really wanted the three points against Alaves…we have to improve a lot.”

While Barcelona top their Champions League group after wins over Juventus and Ferencvaros, they trail leaders Real Madrid by eight points in La Liga after dropping 10 points in six games.
Pogba who on his part is still writhing in the pains of Manchester United’s poor run this term said he is aware he disappointed fans of club with the performance against Arsenal.
Pogba’s careless tackled gifted Arsenal the penalty which Aubamayang converted for the Gunners goal.
A very remorseful Pogba stated…”We know it’s a poor performance. Myself, I cannot give a foul away like that…I thought I would touch the ball but I didn’t. I cost us the goal today with the penalty. We have to do better, the team, myself, it starts with me. I shouldn’t have given a penalty away like that – maybe I was a bit out of breath, it made me do this stupid mistake.”
It would be noted that Manchester United are yet to secure a home win this season after four home games. They only managed a goalless draw against Chelsea while losing 6-1 and 3-1 to Tottenham and Crystal Palace respectively.
