As part of efforts to take Premium Pension Limited (PPL) to greater heights, its board on Tuesday appointed Prof. Nat Ofo as an Independent Director.
A statement by the firm’s spokesperson, Mr Aliyu Mohammed in Lagos, announced that Ofo succeeded the former Independent Director, Mrs Mosun Belo-Olusoga.
According to Mohammed, Belo-Olusoga retired from the board after completing her tenure.
Ofo is a Professor of Corporate Law and Governance at the Department of Business Law, College of Law, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo.

He joined Igbinedion University, from Nigerian Breweries Plc, a subsidiary of Heineken of the Netherlands.
“While at Nigerian Breweries Plc, he occupied senior management positions in the legal, finance, supply chain, human resource and secretarial functions during his 14-year career at the company, ” Mohammed added.
He is a Fellow and the immediate past President of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria and a member of the Board of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria and a member of its Executive Committe.
PPL said that the appointment of Ofo on its board was expected to deepen the already sound corporate governance culture of the company.
PPL is a licensed PFA which started operations in 2005, with current Assets Under Management (AUM)) standing at N621 billion. (NAN)
