A 20-year-old self-proclaimed spiritualist, Emmanuel Ebeagbor, also known as Dr. Walock, has been apprehended by the Edo State Police Command’s operatives.
The suspect, known for duping women under the guise of providing spiritual solutions, was captured in Uromi by the Intelligent Rapid Response Squad, as reported by Daily Post.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Funsho Adegboye, revealed that the arrest occurred during an investigation into a reported case of cyber stalking. According to Adegboye, the suspect solicited N240,000 from a lady, claiming it was needed to address her spiritual issues.

After the victim transferred the money to the suspect’s bank account, he further insisted on receiving her nude video. The CP explained that the suspect instructed the woman to record the video during her bath, citing it as a form of spiritual cleansing, with a promise to delete it afterward.
Following compliance, two weeks later, the suspect demanded an additional N400,000 from the victim, threatening to expose her nude video online if she failed to comply. During the investigation, the CP noted that not only the complainant’s nude video but also those of other women victimised by the suspect were discovered on his phone.
The CP declared that charges against the suspect would be pressed soon, as he emphasised the gravity of the fraudulent activities. In an interview with the media, the suspect admitted to posing as a spiritualist, asserting that he had lost track of the numerous victims he had exploited.
