Plateau State has broken the heart of Governor Simon Lalong by denying him a seat in the Senate, following his defeat in last Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Governor Lalong, who is also the Director General of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Council, lost his bid to represent Plateau South Senatorial District to a retired Air Force General, AVM Napoleon Bali.

The governor was beaten in four of six local government councils, Langtang South, Langtang North, Mikang and Quanpan.
However, he managed to win in two councils, Wase and Shendam, with a slim margin.
