Petroleum Minister re-echoes NNPC’s achievements under the Renewed Hope Administration

Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, minister of state for Petroleum Resources (Oil) has re-echoed the transformative measures the industry has experienced under the Renewed Hope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

 

The minister’s excitement is coming on the hills of plethora of  consolidated  achievements recorded in the  petroleum sector in the  year 2024.

In a statement from the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Nneamaka Okafor, said

Senator Lokpobiri spoke at a Petroleum Industry Stakeholders Forum (PISF) aimed at deepening synergies with every stakeholders  and players across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors to driving a  collaborative course for  sustainable growth within the industry.

 

Explaining the content of discussions at the forum, he  emphasized the transformative measures the industry has experienced under the Renewed Hope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

 

According to him, these measures have catalyzed significant growth and economic stability for the nation, fostering an enabling environment for innovation and investment.

 

These measures, he noted , wouldn’t have successes  without the invaluable contributions of stakeholders whose collaborative efforts have been instrumental in achieving these milestones.

 

“It is on this foundation of collective effort that I proposed enhanced collaboration across all sectors – policy formulation, operational strategies, and key industry projections – eschewing isolated approaches.

 

“By working together, we can simplify Mr. President’s vision of an autonomous, self-sustaining petroleum sector while ensuring the industry continues to flourish”, Senator Lokpobiri added.
