The Presidency, on Thursday night, has condemned the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) saying that the party has been trying so hard to upturn democracy in the country since it lost out in the last election.
The comment of the Presidency may have come on the development that the PDP has been accusing the PDP of planning to cause violence in Taraba State so that a state of emergency could be declared.
The PDP also said the ruling [party is on also work on rigging the supplementary election in Sokoto through the use of the military to intimidate voters.

In reacting to the allegations, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, based the PDP’s allegation on their electoral loss.
According to Shehu, “I don’t think we will comment. Since they suffered the biggest election loss in all presidential elections in the Fourth Republic, the PDP has been doing everything they can to damage the foundation of the country’s struggling democracy.
“If they are not in power, in the states or at the center, they will use all means to spread instability. In President Buhari, they have met their match.”
