Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State has promised a better welfare package for the workers and pensioners in the state.
Governor Oyetola made the promise while playing host to the state chapter of the Triangular Group of Pensioners in his office, on Thursday, in Osogbo.
The governor said that his administration had made adequate provisions in the 2019 budget to cater for the arrears of its workers and pensioners.
He commended the group for their support, saying government would continue to do its best to make them happy.

Oyetola said that his administration would embark on massive revenue generation to boost the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and assist it in delivering on its promises to the people of the state.
The chairman of the group, Mr Rotimi Adelugba, promised that pensioners in the state would continue to support the present administration to achieve its goals.
Adelugba congratulated Oyetola on his victory from the governorship election held on Sept. 22, 2018.(NAN)
