Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has visited Kaduna State to visit victims of the train attack in the state recently.
He was received by Governor Nasir el-Rufai, at the Kaduna International Airport, on Tuesday.
Vice President Osinbajo arrived Kaduna State, on Tuesday, to offer support and visit victims of the attack on an Abuja-Kaduna train killing some passengers, inflicting injuring on some while kidnapping some, Monday night.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Officer of the Vice President, Mr. Laolu Akande, said Osinbajo, who was already on his way to Lagos for the 13th colloquium in commemoration of the 70th birthday of All Progressives Congress stalwart, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, made a detour to Kaduna Tuesday afternoon, after receiving report of the very highly disturbing terrorists attack.
Akande, who passed the information via his Twitter handle, said: “On his way to Lagos for the 13th Tinubu Colloquium marking former Lagos State Gov’s 70th birthday, VP had to detour to Kaduna this afternoon on receiving news of the extent of human and material losses occasioned by yesterday’s dastardly attack on the Abuja-Kaduna railway route.”
He is expected to visit victims of the attacks at who are already being treated at various health facilities include that of the Nigerian Army.
