Osinbajo presides over 4th FEC meeting in Buhari’s absence

For the fourth time running, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently presiding over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting started around 11.04 a.m. at the Council Chambers of the State House.

The meeting made it the fourth FEC meeting in a row that Osinbajo would be presiding over since President Buhari travelled out of the country in October.

The President will be away from Nigeria till November 17.

Cabinet members observed a minute silence in honour of a former Minister of Petroleum, Prof Tam David-West, who passed on Monday at the age of 83.
