Olakulehin to be installed as Olubadan when he’s fully-recovered, says Gov. Makinde

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has said that the current Balogun of Ibadanland, Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin would be installed as the Olubadan when he is strong enough to complete the processes of his coronation.

Governor Makinde made this declaration, on Saturday, in Ibadan, the state capital.

Recall that the Olubadan stool became vacant as a result of the transition of the 42nd Olubadan, Oba Mahood Olalekan Balogun, joined his ancestors on March 14 this year.

Olakulehin had earlier been nominated and appointed as the 43rd Olubadan by the Olubadan-in-Council at a meeting presided by the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.
