According to him “to whom much is given, much is expected, the government can only operate with communities when they have active leaders, hence the need for the inauguration.

“I have carefully selected you to look inward on how to support and collaborate with the government at improving its revenue, so that the government can also in turn give back to our communities with substantive projects and grants. The era of communities receiving N100,000 has gone, the minimum Grants-in-Aid to be received from now will be N1,000,000 but we must be ready to think outside the box on how to support the movement and the government“, he said.

Hon. Hunye urged the Committee to create peaceful co-existence among community executives and members,  stating that ‘’where there is conflict there will be insecurity’’.

Members of the Caretaker Committee include, Akogun Lucien Taiwo as Chairman; Chief Fatai Mustapha, vice Chairman; Com. Usman Olamilekan, Secretary; High Chief Femi Adetayo, Treasurer; while Prince Onaolapo Olatunji, Mrs. Olugbemisola Ogunbanwo and Mrs. Bolanle Ajayi were members.
