The doors of the Federal Secretariat complex, in Abuja, on Wednesday morning, were shut against civil servants who were yet to receive the COVID-19 vaccinations.
It was observed that members of the public without proof of vaccination and negative PCR tests were barred from accessing government buildings.

Recall the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, who is Head of the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19, had announced, in October that December 1, 2021, would be the day for the enforcement of the ‘no vaccine, no entry’ status.
Meanwhile, the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria had beckoned on the Federal Government to extend the deadline till March next 2022.
