The USSD, which is currently trending on social media, has set tongues wagging with many lampooning the Ota-based Bishop for lacking empathy in a time of the pandemic.

The USSD is available on all telephone networks.

According to them, instead of setting up relief efforts, the church was busing thinking of a way to further fleece people when they should be helped.

Many expressed disappointment that Bishop Oyedepo did not think of helping those who are affected by COVID-19 but instead thinking of a way to make money.

Bishop Oyedepo and his church, Winners Chapel, have come under the intense hammer for disobedience to authority, an allegation the church has denied.
