Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, defeated Governor Darius Dickson of Taraba State in his polling unit in Takum Local Government Council of the state.
It was gathered that Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was trailing the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in second place

Peter Obi was observed to have scored 211 votes but Atiku mustered only 64 votes.
Furthermore the LP presidential candidate was noticeably leading in the state.
