#NIGERIA DECIDES: Cleric commends INEC over polls conduct

Founder and Chief Missioner (Worldwide), of Zawiyatul-Sofwatur-Rahmatil-Islamiyyat (ZASRAM), Ota, Ogun State, Sheikh Abdur-Razaq Abdul-Hameed Onaolapo Animashaun Kasolayo, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), over the clean conduct of the on-going general election saying, so far, it has been so good.

The Islamic scholar, who spoke with our reporter after casting his vote at the newly created polling Unit, 052, Diamond Community, Ota Ogun State also seized the opportunity to praise the commission for the creation of the new Polling Unit for the community which he said has lessen the burden of eligible voters to trek long distance to reach their polling areas in the past.

The Ifon, Osun State cleric also commended the peaceful conduct of the voters in the conduct praising them for the patriotic manner in which they comported themselves just as he charged the INEC to conclude the election on a good note because, according to him, mistakes at the collation end could spoil its good work and erase the confidence people reposed in them.

The exercise, generally, was very peaceful and smooth in the polling areas covered by our correspondent in Ota, Ogun State.
