A former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) has noted that Nigeria is currently at war and is facing a tough time.
Gen. Abubakar lamented that this ‘war without morality’ has spread across all edges of the nation where individuals slaughter themselves at any smallest incitements.
The former military ruler expressed this, on Wednesday, at the 30th Assembly of the Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, the Niger State capital.
According to him, “We are confronting a tough time, security-wise. The conflict front is all over the place.

“This is a conflict without any ethical quality, where the old and the youthful are slaughtered without any reason,” he said.
Gen. Abubakar brought up that the country’s security powers are overstretched, approaching all Nigerians to hold hands in ensuring that data is given to them where conceivable.
Speaking further, the former Head of State said, “As we go into politics, caution Nigerians and politicians.
“Please, wisely play the game. Avoid using our children and grandchildren for propaganda and …trying to make them do what we know is wrong.
