The Newmark Group, a Pan-African Public Relations and Communications firm, has announced its entry into the global markets following its full membership in the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN).

According to a press release issued on Wednesday during a ceremony in London, The Newmark Group’s move would not only improve its ability to serve customers globally but would also bring the number of member PR agencies to 54, which would help strengthen PRGN’s activities in five Sub-Saharan African countries.

The Newmark Group’s founder and CEO, Gilbert Manirakiza, commented on the development, saying that his company’s expertise in strategy design and execution, stakeholder mapping, thought leadership, media training, and content production, make it a formidable client partner.

He said, “From Newmark’s inception in 2010, our profound objective has been to contribute to creating a world that promotes inclusive prosperity for everyone. This is a world where people and communities are liberated to realise their full potential and pursue their ambitions. And joining PRGN increases our capacity to achieve this because it allows us to go even farther in connecting, enabling, and activating businesses to become a force for good, not only in Africa but internationally.”

The Newmark Group, established in 2010, is a Pan-African communications and brand positioning agency that utilizes the power of brand trust to help businesses and organizations thrive. Welcoming The Newmark Group into their fold, PRGN’s president, David Fuscus, described the Group as one of Africa’s fastest-growing independent brand and communications consultants. “The Newmark Group is located in Nairobi, Kenya, with a professional presence in Nigeria and 30 other African nations. Hence, awarding full membership to them signals the growth of PRGN into critical African markets, with the potential to reach over 1.4 billion people,” he said.

PRGN is one of the world’s largest multinational networks of independent public relations and communications firms, with approximately 800 specialists in over 70 locations.

Members are independent, local, owner-operated public relations and marketing communications firms that share experience and resources while providing a broad-based, comprehensive communications strategy to clients worldwide.
