Namibia High Commissioner to Nigeria hosts Fulani monarch in Abuja

Alhaji (Dr.) Mohammed Abubakar Bambado II, Sarkin Fulani of Lagos, was hosted by His Excellency, Mr. Humphrey Desmond Geiseb, High Commissioner of Namibia to Nigeria, at his residence in Abuja, at the weekend.

Both leaders met to discuss on the collaborative benefits of an agricultural and pastoral investment opportunity for Nigeria and Namibia.

The Ambassador and his wife later treated his guest, the Sarkin Fulani of Lagos with his entourage to a dinner.

Namibian officials present at the dinner were, Brona Mushabati (second secretary) political and Ms. Saara Amukugo (counsellor), republic of Namibia.

On the Sarkin’s entourage were Alhaji Yakubu Abubakar (Wakilin Minna), Alhaji Isa Abubakar (Dan Buran Minna), and Mr Akinkugbe Akeredolu-ale.

A source from the Lagos Palace of Sarkin Fulani informed that both the host and his guest had a fruitful discussion, enthusing that the fruits of their parley would start to benefit both countries very soon.

Dr. Bambado thereafter signed the visitors register after presenting his host with a traditional souvenir.
