Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir el- Rufai says former Zimbabwe president, Robert Mugabe would have been a celebrated African leader in death, but his long stay in power demeans his achievements and made him to end tragically.

He said that the late Zimbabwean president started very well, but over stayed his welcome. “His life is a lesson for all in public leadership roles, groom successor and leave when ovation is still loud,” the governor tweeted.
He, however, prayed that the soul of the departed African leader rest in peace.
