Naira Marley, musician and owner of the recordjng label of the late Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad., has disclosed how he once convinced the artiste against killing himself.
Marley on Wednesday, told social media influencer,, Reno Omokri, that he had Mohbad on record, contemplating suicide and how he convinced the late singer against killing himself.
According to him,, MohBad’s girl had complained to him how MohBad had locked himself in a foilet, intending to commit suicide.
“There’s some other time when I was in America and his girl called me and said he locked himself in a toilet and wanted to kill himself and I called him and kind of recorded the conversation asking him ‘why do you want to kill yourself?” Marley said.
“If your family is stressing you out, just tell them to go.’ ‘You’re a king, chill and do whatever you wanna do. Don’t kill yourself.

“If you kill yourself now what do you want people to say? You just made a video not long ago saying if you die they should hold Naira Marley?
“He locked himself in a room and this was after he made the video that I wanted to kill him. So I was so concerned.”
MohBad had died on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27 years, sparking controversy over cause of death.
His remains had been exhumed for autopsy.
However, Naira Marley and some other person’s are in the eye of the storm for allegedly orchestrating the trigger that led to MohBad’s untimely death.
