Drew Kohn, a 30-year-old United States of America man dubbed ‘miracle man’ who woke up after a 244-day coma has been killed by a pickup truck seven years after his miraculous come back from the coma.
In 2017, Drew Kohn suffered a head injury from a motorcycle accident a few days before his 23rd birthday and went into a coma for 244-days during which attempts were made to harvest his organs, prompting his mother to take him hope with the hope he would wake up.
Her hope materialized eight months later when Drew woke up from the coma one day and allegedly told his stunned mother, “Yeah, Mom, I’m OK. I love you, Mom.”
However, on July 26, 2024, was killed when a pickup truck hit him while he was walking on Collins Road in Jacksonville around 5:30 a.m.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the driver told cops he didn’t notice Drew on the road before hitting him.
He pulled over and called 911, but it was too late as Drew was pronounced dead at the scene.
Reacting, his mother said: “God honoured my request, and I’m not mad. I’m not angry. I’m at peace. I got seven years and like Hezekiah who turned his face to the wall, I remember sitting on Drew’s hospital bed and saying to myself, ‘Thy will be done.”
She further said: “Drew is healed, walking, not struggling to keep his balance. His arm is probably lifted so high saying ‘Thank you, Jesus!’ Drew probably has a football in one hand and a Bible in the other.”
