The Lagos State Police Command has said that one Eniefe Omomo, 42, and resident of Ikorodu area of the state, took his life after killing his wife and their six-year-old son.
According to spokesman for the Command, DSP Bala Elkana, he said following a distress call made on May 24, 2019, around 8:00a.m, that Omomo No. 12, Eruga Street, Aga, Ikorodu, allegedly killed himself and after killing his wife, Faith Omomo, 38, he also killed their six-year-old son, Glorious Omomo.
The PPRO noted that when detectives from the Homicide Section of the Command visited the scene, they saw the corpse of the suspect hanging on a rope tied to the ceiling fan, while that of his son and wife were on the floor.
He added that investigation was ongoing as at time of filing this report.
