A man in the United States of America has died while visiting his mistress in another state after he left home telling his wife he was going to work.
The news of his death was broken to his wife in a telephone call when the caller , who later turned out to be the mistress, told her her husband was dead.
The woman could not believe the news as she told the caller that her husband had left home in the morning telling her he was going to work and wondered how he died in another state visiting his mistress.
The story was shared on Facebook by a coworker of the woman, Starr Alexander, and has generated reactions.
Alexander wrote: “This lady in my office today found out that her husband passed away in a car accident but he was in a different state and she had NO IDEA.
“She was like ‘my husband left for work this morning at 5:30am. I think you have the wrong number.’ That man was supposed to be in Charlotte but he took a flight to Miami and didn’t tell no one.
“That lady was devastated and confused all at the same time. Take a wild guess who called her? .THE OTHER WOMAN!! and tomorrow is their 20th anniversary. So so sad.”
