“Everyone is invited, especially our customers who have been with us for 10 years. It is an occasion designed to thank our loyal customers,  families, and friends who have encouraged us in this journey,” she stated.

Obinna-Onunkwo further invited Little Weavers’ numerous clients to join in the 10th anniversary activities. “We need you to do a one-minute video of your review of our services and goodwill messages for our 10th anniversary,” she stated.

On the activities scheduled for the day, she disclosed: “We will do some interesting things for the children in appreciation of our customers. On that day, we are going to do everything in 10s, and that includes a 10 per cent discount on all of our clothing. So, even if you are not yet our customer, if you see our flyers or hear this message, take it as an invitation and come with your loved ones to have one of the best fashion shopping experiences during the Christmas holiday period. We expect you to come with your wallets and get the best deals.”

Little Weaver has, over the years, been a leading children’s clothing brand on the continent and a strong supporter of girl child education. It has championed the cause by making presentations to presidents and other influential leaders.

Little Weavers has been a constant presence in fashion exhibitions since its 2015 maiden exhibition for the cultural department of embassies, where over 80 children showcased different African clothing. Most recently, it participated in the 2022 African Fashion and Design Week in Nigeria.

As Little Weavers gears up for its 10th-year celebration and prepares for the future, its founder said the brand’s vision remains unchanged.

“Our vision statement is “Wear Africa.” We believe the young ones must understand the essence of wearing African clothing, the patterns and the craftwork, and the dynamics around wearing African clothing,” Obinna-Onunkwo said.
