Let’s sustain sacrifice and discipline of Lent – Rep.

The member representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, has tasked his constituents to strive to sustain the discipline  of self denial embodied by the Lenten season as they work to make the country a better place.

Dr. Ottah Agbo said this in message to his constituents to mark the Easter celebrations.
In a statement by his Media Adviser, Mr. Andrew Agbese, the federal lawmaker called on the people to continue to uphold the virtues of Jesus Christ who in his humility endured humiliation on the Cross for the benefit of mankind.
He said the commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ should serve to encourage all, that despite the feeling of despair pervading the country, there’s hope for a better tomorrow.
The lawmaker, who is the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Narcotic Drugs, said it is important for all the communities in the Enone Federal Constituency to maintain the prevailing atmosphere of peace so as to sustain the attraction of meaningful development to the Constituency.
He added: “Let me also use this opportunity to appeal to the youths and other members of the Constituency to shun the temptation to abuse drugs and other narcotic substances and remain law abiding citizens.
“I wish all my people, a happy Easter celebration in love and peace.”
