As part of efforts in fulfillment of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s electioneering campaign promises, the Lagos State government, in partnership with BOSKOH Healthcare Mission, would flag-off Health and Environment Initiative across the state, on Friday.
Speaking at a Press Conference organised by the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, the Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Ministry of Health, Titilayo Goncalves, said the exercise, which would last for six days, was to fulfill an important pillar of development under the six pillars of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration in delivering free care services to Lagosians.
The Permanent Secretary, said the exercise would take place at the following Primary Health Centers, Ajara PHC, Badagry, Akerele PHC, Surulere, Ikotun PHC, Alimosho, Iga Iduganran PH, Lagos Island, Epe PHC Epe, Onigbongo PHC, Ikeja and Ita-Elewa PHC, Ikorodu.
The Executive Director of Healthcare Mission International, Nike Osa,while appealing to Lagosians to join hands with State Government and BOSKOH Healthcare Mission International, to make the program a success, said the innovation was meant to screened children for visual and hearing impairments, and other problems that could negatively impact their capacity to study, as well as help them to be healthy and prepare them for their roles in the future as leaders.
