Kidnappers abduct Badaru’s ex-aide’s mother

The aged mother of‎ Governor Muhammed Badaru Abubakar’s former special Adviser on politics Alhaji Yahaya Muhammad (Bigman) was reported to have been abducted by unknown people, on Monday evening.

Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Bala Zama Senchi, confirmed on telephone that the kidnappers came in last night and abducted the 70-year-old mother of the former aide at her residence in Gaya village under Danladin Gumel constituency of Suletankarkarfederla localgovernment area of the state.
According to the state police commissioner several police officers were deployed to the surrounding towns and villages to locate the hiding place of the abductors.
Mr Senchi said the kidnappers have contacted the family for ransom.
