The speaker told the new NULGE executive that the House of Assembly was very open for any interaction with the union.
The President of NULGE in the state, Comrade Haruna Kargi, said the visit was to introduce the new executives and assured that they would support the assembly and state government to achieve their goals at the state and local government levels.
He said: “this cannot be achieved without working hand in hand with politicians and the management.
“We are ready to do everything possible to ensure that promises made during the electioneering campaign are fulfilled.
“The politicians are those that are making the policies while the implementations are done by the bureaucrats who are our members.” (NAN)
