JUST IN: Presidency fumigates Buhari’s offices, others over Coronavirus

The Presidency is leaving anything to chance in the bid to rid the vast complex of possible traces of Coronavirus.

To this end, The Presidency, on Thursday, began intensive fumigation of the State House, beginning from President Muhammadu Buhari’s office.

Fumigation experts had arrived at the Presidential Villa about 9.30a.m. to commence the exercise that would cover the entire the villa.

The Nigerian Xpress gathered that the fumigation experts began from the building housing President Buhari’s office to the floors leading to the office, and the entire  corridors as well as major pathways in the area.

A source at the Villa said, “These people are not from the Villa. They came from outside from the town.

“They are dressed in complete white overalls, masked and wear other protective gears.

“The dressing is similar to how the National Centre for Disease Control people wear their protective gears.”

The Presidency had, last Tuesday, began scalding down of activities in the villa following the chief of staff, Abba Kyari testing  positive to Coronavirus.

The move was in a bid to tackle the ravaging pandemic.
