JUST IN: Japan PM, Abe to declare State of Emergency on Tokyo, Osaka, others over COVID-19

Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, is to declare a State of Emergency over many cities in the country on account of the ravaging Coronavirus pandemic.

The PM, The Japan Times verified Twitter handle, @japantimes, said that the cities to be affected included cover Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Osaka, Hyogo and Fukuoka.

The State of Emergency is believed will last for one month.
