JUST IN: Court shifts judgment on Gov. Ben Ayade’s defection

A Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja, has postponed the judgement on Governor Ben Ayande of Cross River and his deputy, Ivara Esu, till April 6, 2022, over their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Recall that Justice Taiwo Taiwo had earlier planned the judgment for March 25, 2022, in the suit seeking to sack Ayande and Ivara Esu over their defection from the PDP to the APC.
