President Muhammadu Buhari and some top security agency heads are currently meeting at the Presidential Villa, in Abuja.
Those at the closed-door meeting included the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu; National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen Babagana Monguno (rtd); and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai-Abubakar.

It was unclear what the agenda of the meeting was, but source say discussions might centre on the general security situation in the country, including the handling of recent tension over the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
