Join hands with me to build a new Nigeria – Tinubu tells Bishop Kukah

Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has urged Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Kukah, to join hands with him to build a stronger Nigeria.

Asiwaju Tinubu made the plea in a speech during the 70th birthday anniversary of the Sokoto Bishop.

During his speech, Asiwaju Tinubu said that he understood the institution that he (Kukah) was building. He, however, said they both had a bigger responsibility in building Nigeria.

In the words of Tinubu, “You are building an institution in the honor of your 70, I am 70 too I could still contribute. I am just months older than you are.

“But Bishop, you will help build Nigeria. The greatness of a nation is on your shoulder. It’s on my shoulder too and we must build it together. I must and I will contribute handsomely and personally to build and see to the completion of that institution.”
