Ikotun residents appeals to Lagos CP over activities of cult group

Residents of Ikotun in Lagos State, has appealed to the Commissioner of Police in the state, Zubairu Muazu, to save them from the activities of cult group operating under the name, no salary boys.

Speaking on the activities of the group, Dr. G. C. Mbadiwe, a human right activist and founder of Geo-Diwe Foundation, said the group numbering above 50, have maimed, robbed and wounded many in the community.

He said he had called the intervention of the police from Ikotun Police Station, but they are yet to respond to the situation.

“People cannot go around their normal business again. These guys are armed with different dangerous weapons. They said they are no salary boys. They operates daily from 6:pm and sometimes, 6:am, when people would be going to work”.

The community is calling for urgent intervention of the police.
