Ikeji Aro 2024: Arochukwu royal palace urges Umu Aro to ignore fake calendar in circulation

The Arochukwu Royal palace has urged Umu Aro to discountenance the purported Ikeji Aro 2024 calendar currently in circulation, describing it as fake.

In a release signed by the Director, Media; Arochukwu Royal Palace, Mazi Patrick Asonye, quoted the palace secretary, Mazi Ugo Okoro, saying that the purported Ikeji Aro 2024 calendar issued by a certain Mr Godwin Idei is not from Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom.

“In the said fake calendar, Mr Godwin Idei claims that he is the Eze Aro, and therefore the one to issue the Ikeji calendar,” the release stated.

The release noted that no date have been fixed yet for the Ikeja Aro and therefore the ones in circulation do not originate from the palace.

“The Arochukwu Royal Palace hereby states that no Ikeji Arochukwu calendar has been released for the 2024 celebrations; that any Ikeji Aro 2024 calendar currently in circulation did not emanate from the Arochukwu royal palace; that any calendar being circulated at the moment is, therefore, fake; that any Ikeji Aro 2024 calendar in circulation at this time does not represent the collective interest of Arochukwu Kingdom and its people.that the palace, for the avoidance of doubt, hereby voids the said document issued by Godwin Idei and declares same as null and void.

The statement warns the said ‘Godwin Idei to desist from being an impostor and imposing his personal will on Arochukwu Kingdom, thereby causing confusion.’

“The royal palace further warned Mr Godwin Idei that he risks incurring the wrath of Umu Aro as he continues in his desperation to destabilize the kingdom through his illegal claims,’

It urged Umu Aro to ‘ignore Godwin Idei and his divisive antics’ adding that the authentic Ikeji Aro 2024 calendar will soon be issued by Eze Aro, His Eminence Dr Eberechukwu Oji.
