Hanifa Abubakar: Kano on fire over murder of 5-yr-old pupil

Kano State literally went up in smoke when some irate youths descended on Noble Kids Academy, the school where a five-year-old pupil, Hanifa Abubakar, was allegedly killed by the owner, Abdulmalik Tanko. 

The school is located in the Dakata area of Kwanar Dakata, Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.

Angered by the wicked murder if the innocent child, the youths mobilised and set the building ablaze in protest.

However, the action of the youths have been condemned by residents, who said Tanko is not the owner of the property but only rented it for his school.

The arson attack, which completely destroyed the top floor of the building, was perpetrated at night while people slept.

It was gathered that the security operatives assigned to protect the building were absent when the arsonists struck.

Nevertheless, some residents and operatives of the state fire service intervened to put out the fire.

Hanifa Abubakar was allegedly abducted  by Tanko and poisoned to death despite collecting ransom from her distraught parents.
