Halima Abubakar begs Apostle Johnson Suleman for forgiveness after defaming him

Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, has written a letter of apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries, begging him to forgive her for defaming him.

The actress whose running battle with Suleman dates back to 2022, confessed to spreading falsehood about the cleric and consequently caused him harm via social media.

When Halima Abubakar was seriously sick in 2022 after she had fallen out with Apostle Suleman, her family had called out Suleman on social media and warned him to keep away from her.

However, Halima in her letter, pleaded with Suleman to forgive her, expressing deep regrets for her actions.

“I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my action and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr Lizzy Suleman, your family and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry,” she wrote.

“With this letter, I humbly ask for forgiveness, recognising that my apology cannot undo the harm, pain and distress I caused and I ask you to find a place in your heart to forgive me as I was not thinking right then.

“I’m truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family and ministry.”
