The APC National Youth Vanguard, a recognised youth group under APC national secretariat, has called on Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State to be aware of activity of one Haruna Alfa who is moving from states to states to extort money from party leader and stakeholders under the name of APC National Youth Vanguard.
A statement signed by the National Secretary of the group, Comrade Bashir Muhammad Bello, the Secretary said,“the impersonation activity of Haruna Alfa and his group has been reported to the national secretariat of the party via a letter dated June 15th, 2021 with an acknowledgment copy dated June 17th, 2021.”

It said, “Our attention has been drowned to an event tagged “AWARD and inaugurating of state executive council of APC NATIONAL YOUTH VANGUARD being organised by one Haruna Alfa and his co travelers scheduled to takes place tomorrow 30th of October in Kano . The event “is purportedly being organised under the name of APC National Youth Vanguard – a clear case of impersonation by Haruna Alfa and his ‘greedy cohorts.”
The statement emphasised that the authentic APC National Youth Vanguard has never and would never mix party activities with money-seeking events like an award as being promoted by the fake version of APC national youth Vanguard. Our core mandate is to mobilise support and contributes ideas to move the party and the nation forward.
The statement said our worries is that “the said Haruna Alfa is purportedly operating under the office of CTC, APC National Youth Leader contrary to the rules and regulations guiding the registration and recognition of APC Support Groups.

The registered and recognised Jibrilla Gadzama-led APC National Youth Vanguard said it was duly registered as a support group of the ruling All Progressives Congress as contained in letter dated January 29th, 2015.
It said the letter was signed by the then National Secretary of the party Mai Mala Buni who is the current caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
Perhaps, APC National Youth Vanguard already have their existing structure intact from National level to the pulling units across Nigeria and cannot understand why inaugurations of new leadership for the organization that has been in existence since 2014.
Part of the statement read, “We are constrained to use this medium to alert our great party leaders, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and whoever it my concern that HARUNA ALFA is never and not the National Leader of APC National Youth Vanguard as the constitution of the Vanguard is very clear about its leadership structure.”
The group also said they are patiently waiting for the response of APC national secretariat on its petition against the said HARUNA ALFA and his gang before kick starting the next line of action.
