Governor Aminu waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has dedicated his victory at the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal to God and the people of the state.
The governor stated this while addressing PDP supporters who converged at Sokoto Government House shortly after the Tribunal upheld his election as the governor of the state under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor, therefore, thanked the people of the state for their persistent support and prayers since the commencement of the struggle.
Governor Tambuwal said that there was no doubt that power belonged to God and it was His will that he emerged victorious at general elections inconclusive election and now at the tribunal.

The governor thanked the Tribunal for its fairness in handling the election petitions.
While thanking the PDP supporters in the state for their support and sustained prayers, Governor Tambuwal urged opponents to joined hands with his administration to work for the development of sokoto State.
Governor Tambuwal reiterated the commitment of his administration towards executing laudable projects in all parts of the state.
In his remarks, a former Governor of Sokoto State, Alh Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, appealed to supporters of all political parties in the state to support Governor Tambuwal’s administration in its efforts to develop the state.
