Gov. Sanwo-Olu announces total ban of Okada on Lagos highways, selected LGAs

Following the murder of an engineer in Lekki by a mob of commercial motorcyclists known as okada riders, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on Wednesday, announced total ban on operation of commercial motorcycles on all Lagos highways and some selected local governments.

The affected local governments are Eti-Osa, ikeja, Surulere, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland  and Apapa.

The governor made the announcement at a short press briefing at Lagos House, Ikeja.
