Gov. Abiodun assures late ex-HoS’s family of support

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has assured family of the late former Head of Service, Engr. Olanrewaju Bisiriyu of the state’s support, saying, “we are with you at this trying period.”

The governor pledged the State’s assurance during a condolence visit to the family where he described the late former Head of Service as a dedicated and committed man whose contributions to the growth of the state remains unquantifiable.

Governor Abiodun who paid the visit in company of the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako Oyedele and other Government functionaries expressed a deep sense of loss, stating that the death of Engr Bisiriyu came at a time when his wealth of experience was more needed.

According to him, Engr. Bisiriyu was the Head of service who received him when he came into office on May 29, 2019 and he continued to be a Jolly good fellow even after his retirement.

The governor prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul and assured his family of the State’s support at this trying time.

The first son of the deceased, Mr. Olanrewaju, who on behalf of the family thanked the Governor for the visit, described his late father as a man who has left a great vacuum that would be difficult for anyone to fill.

The late HoS was survived by his wife and three children.
