Some agitators of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) have been arrested in Ghana.
The agitators were arrested by Ghanaian Police officers during one of their meetings and immediately transported in a van to a police station.
They were reportedly arrested at Mallam Junction, Accra, the nation’s capital, during their monthly meeting.

Last week, Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police, Mr. Usman Baba Alkali, had ordered police officers to handle members of the group as ‘criminals’ adding that they were constituting a nuisance in the country.
The IPOB members were seen in a viral video sang in a Police patrol van while they were being taken to the Police Station after being arrested.
