Journalists International Forum for Migration (JIFORM), has made an appeal to the wealthy Nigerian born musician, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known worldwide as Davido, for assistance for an orphanage home, (Home for The Needy), situated at Uhogua, Benin Edo State, Nigeria.
The Forum made the appeal at the wake of the promise of the musician that the N250 million donation he received for his birthday would be expended to support the needy, begging him to put the Benin Orphanage Home on his list of priority.

The Forum President, Ajibola Abayomi in a press release felicitated with the crooner on his 29th birthday and praised him for giving back to the society what the society had earlier given to him when he never asked for it.
Davido, the Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record took the world by storm when he raised N200 million from his associates for personal need through the social media, added N50 million and donated all to the orphanage homes in the country!
“We are not just asking for support for the centre, we are equally asking Davido and his team to embark on a fact finding mission to the place where over 4,500 children and windows who lost their husbands to Boko Haram onslaught are taking refuge.
“Opportunity like this should get to the real needy and we trust Davido’s good intention would translate into giving succour to the poor. Certainly, this show of love will make the motherless, fatherless and the less privileged smile forever,” Abayomi asserted.

According to the JIFORM President, each time the Forum remembers the physiological trauma of the victims of forced migration at the Home for the Needy, “one is always inspired to mobilize support because these kids are in pains without adequate food to eat, 97 of them have gained admission to universities and the centre is challenged to meet their needs.”
“JIFORM is fired up to channel our energy to raise funds with other international bodies in Europe, Africa and other continents from 2022 for the less privileged, especially victims at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp. We consider Davido as a man after God’s heart,” Abayomi said.
