FO announces resignation, appointment of CEO, CFO

Forte Oil Plc has notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, and its shareholders of the resignation of Mr. Akin Akinfemiwa and Mr. Julius Omodayo-Owotuga, as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the company, respectively.

The oil company in a letter addressed to NSE and sighted by The Nigerian Xpress also announced the appointments of Mr. Olumide Adeosun and Mr. Moshood Olajide, as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, respectively to fill the void left by the duo.

According to the letter, “Forte Oil Plc hereby notifies the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), its shareholders and other stakeholders of the Company of the following:

The resignation of Mr. Akin Akinfemiwa and Mr. Julius Omodayo-Owotuga as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, respectively. We also announce the appointment of Mr. Olumide Adeosun and Mr. Moshood Olajide as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, respectively. The appointments are with immediate effect” the letter stated.
